Custom Web App Development
We do custom web application development using PHP, MySQL, Ajax, JQuery, Mootools, etc. Here is how we do that complex looking process in simpler steps.
1. Requirement Analysis
This is the most crucial and important phase of new web application development. We always ask for detailed requirements from the client, offcourse we help them putting togather (if not ready) by asking numerous questions on what is the motto? how it should work? etc…
We then analyse all the input from the client and put togather a estimated quote and time frame we require for the development.
2. Sketching Wireframes
On the go from client, we start putting togather all the thoughts we had in analysis phase on a piece of paper. Try putting rought sketches to elaborate the functional flow of the application. We will send you our paper work for your approval. On your approval we use the same sketches for final design layouts.
3. Layout Design
We start approaching photoshop now and try to give you designs/screens with a realtime look and feel of the application. We start with home page and inner pages subsequently after your approval. We use same theme for inner pages which we’ve used for home page. Please refer our approach on UI design for more details.
4. XHTML/CSS slicing
We do pixcel perfect slicing of all the final layouts. The sliced layout will be used by development team later on. please refer our approach on XHTML/CSS for more details.
5. DB Design
Do not wonder why we have DB design phase at this step, in reality this is a side by side process with step 2, 3 & 4. Our developer started design the Database along with wireframe step and finalize with XHTML phase and at the same time start working on Admin side of the application.
6. Front end coding
Our developers use sliced HTML pages and star coding the front end of the application. This development will be as per the flow decided in the wireframes.
7. Internal Testing & Demo on the Development Server
Our QA team members start testing the application at the coding stage as well as on the development server where we show the demo of the application to the client. We fix the bugs as they pointed out by the QA team along with development process.
8. Client Testing, Deployment and Sign off
Client use the same demo server version for his own testing. Once a Green Go from the client, our team start deploying the application to the live server provided by the client. On final disbursement we handover all the passwords to the client and insist to change them. This would be sign off of the project.
9. Free support for 3 Months
This is not over yet. Our team is still dedicated to the project for any kind of technical support required by the client.
